- bladder ensures sleeve is seated but is made firm to reduce pressure imbalances above/below piston under high piston velocities.
- inserts make tuning easy and lock into place once installed in shock body. The single port restriction greatly reduces oil velocity over standard multi hole pistons
- force oil forward and return creates a more balanced pressure above and below the piston.
- oval ports are positioned based on measurements taken from actual vehicles.
- bottom oval port is positioned so oil can flow under the piston to minimise vacuum/aeration.
- one shim for rebound tuning maintains piston height. Grub screws offer 4 additional levels of rebound control.
- piston is about 30% smaller than normal 1/8 pistons. This means 30% less oil displacement, lower oil velocity and less fade.
- stainless steel washer is about 5 times stronger than your normal 0.5mm washer.
